Kat Masella is a dedicated encaustic mixed media artist and instructor. Kat states, “ One has just seconds to transfer molten wax to a substrate before it hardens, this immediacy forces my presence in the moment, becoming a flowing meditation on the transient nature of both art and of life. My intentions are always to pass along this peaceful and joyous creative process onto the viewer in hopes of continual positive visceral experiences. ”
